Buying Solutions (formerly NHS PaSA) requires Allied Health Professionals working with adults to pass a training course for the Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults (POVA).

This session will enable you to achieve the Skills for Care Induction: Standard Level 5 and recognise and respond to abuse and neglect.

This module will cover:

Legislation references,

Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults' POVA scheme,

Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006,

Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults Act 2000,

Care Standards Act 2000,

followed by a short test.
